Everybody knows that it's a set-up! The NFL feels guilty now for spending all that money on the Super Dome when it could go to better things like....RESTORING POWER or REBUILDING N.O.!! I really hope that the Saints LOSE!!

The saints are not cheating-it is inot concievable for a team to intentionally buy or persuade the officails or the National Football League Your question includes a play that at first view I thought was a farce...however, it was a clear falst start (source:ESPN slow motion). The issue is that they do not call it both ways or consistently. What seems to be happening is that they (the Saints) get favorable calls. That false start happens at least 4 times a game by each team...it's hard to pick up in real time...and the refs started calling these penalties in the 2nd half. I saw both a holding penalty and an illegal contact penalty that was a no call on any given Sunday-or in the first half. I love the NFL - I hate to think that they are going to challenge the integrity of the league by giving calls to a city that had a tragedy. It's a feel good story...and who doesnt like a feel good story-I just hope it's not a controversy of bad calls like the Superbowl last year---

Yes I think the game was for the Saints. I mean everyone in the media and in the NFL wanted the Saints to win. For all the Saints fans I'm happy that your team won. But let's look at your owner a little. How did you feel when he walked onto the field knowing that he had 4 cities that he was going to move the team to? Where were the Saints fans during the loosing seasons?

Yeah. And somehow they forced Andy Reid to send out the punt team with 4th and 15 instead of going for it. The NFL has a whole Katrina conspiracy going on with the Saints this year and they wanted them to beat the Eagles....twice.
Saints fans: Enjoy the ride! I know I am!!!
Honestly though, Eagles fans can be dense at times, but asker, you need to suck it up, put your Big Girl pants on, and wait for next year like anyone else eliminated from the playoffs.
Die, Eagles, Die
On the road to misery.
Punt, Eagles, Punt
On your 4th down, 1-2-3!
Miss 'em low!
Miss 'em high!
And watch those Eagles die!
Cry, Eagles, Cry
On the way back to Phil-ly!!!!
S-A-I-N-T-S WHO DAT?!

I am not an eagle fan at all, but from a neutral spectator's standpoint, I can say that the game was fixed. New Orleans i now America's city. Yeah they had a natural disaster happen; but this is football, it shouldn't matter. The game was definitely fixed. All the bogus penalties at the end? Bull.

False starts happen in football every game. It happens, let it go. The Eagles did great but feel a little short.

If the Saints win the Superbowl, everyone's going to say it was fixed because of Hurricane Katrina. Whatever, get over it.

No. the only bad call was that time duece got tackled at the 5 yard line and pushed the huddle to a touchdown. that was called down by "forward progress" in every game i've ever seen before.
But NFL loves the feel good story of the saints so of course it was a touchdown.

This is football, not poker.
How exactly did they cheat? Your offensive lineman was the one who committed the false start penalty.
Grow up and wait till next year like the other teams now.
Oh, BTW, Go Saints!!!
