I have a fear of being restrained or trapped in a small space. It isn't claustraphobia because I don't mind small spaces. I just don't like being restrained or forced into a small space. Specifically I have a seizure condition and I'm terrified of the seizures becuase basically they remove my control of my body and I can only think and see out of my eyes but not control body movements.

Darkness isn't something you should be scared of really. You should really learn to face your fears. I suggest that you try sleeping in a completely dark room everyday. If you're THAT scared you'll be thrilled when you wake up in the morning because nothing happened to you. So, after a few weeks of such sleep you'll get used to it. Remember, you should not run away from the room at mid night. And maybe you could try sky watching at night, probably at the time of new moon. Go to some place where there's no menace of city lights. Then, next time you face darkness you should remember those stars and imagine how the darkness in the place is similiar. Oh, and also remember that there's nothing to hurt you when you are in the dark. And DON'T let anybody know of your phobia, especially if you have older brothers or sort. They'll just worsen it.

I don't know your age, but could you look back into your past to see if anyone restrained you or forced you into a small place? You aren't frightened when you enter small places on your own volition.
I trust you have gotten treatment for the seizures.

Its called agoraphobia or "fear of the marketplace". Actually its the fear of being trapped in a public place. See if this is what you mean: http://panicdisorder.about.com/od/agoraphobia/Agoraphobia.htm
