I've always heard something about a butterfly feeling early on when the baby moves. I just felt a fluttering feeling in my stomach around the belly button area. Could this be the baby moving? I'm not sure how far along I am yet until I have my ultrasound in three weeks!

It felt like it does when you sit on a water bed...Hmmm. Any ideas what it might be? I've had irregular periods since November. Nov was way shorter than usual and lighter. Dec was only spotting for two days. And Jan was completely missed.

It sounds like your about 3 1/2 months pregnant. Both my pregnancy's were different. I felt my first son around 5 or 6 months, (lazy and still is). I felt my second son before i found out i was pregnant. Well I knew when I felt him move. I was about 9 weeks at the time. Found out I was pregnant for sure about 2 weeks later. I was 11 weeks when I found out by the doctor. It depends for real. Everyone feels their fetus at different times. The only difference is I felt the movement toward the bottom, under my belly-button, but if your 3 or 4 months, well its about time for he/she to start moving. Good luck

I was just 4 months along when I felt my first child move. I was laying down and felt the faint flutter. What an awesome feeling.!!

ok well my first baby i didnt notice them but my second and 3rd i noticed them around 14 weeks but when your pregnant the baby usually dont start to move around until 8 weeks usually the baby is to small at this point to feel the movements. when i felt mine move it felt like a fluttering and sometimes like i had air bubbles in my stomach. but i felt the actual kicks around 20 weeks.

i was about 3 months when i felt the butterfly feeling around 5 months i really started to feel the actual movements though. funny to look down and see see huge lump coming out from your side. my mom was always "oh i see a footsie," when i'd visit her.

it feels like a goldfish in a bag of water... I felt mine at 14 weeks... (my first I felt at 20 weeks or so)... I am 17 weeks and he sure kicks... doctor says that is unusal

i never really had the butterfly thing untell way later on but i just felt little taps inside me at around 19-20 weeks preggo!!

i felt my babies move at 12 weeks most experts say you cant feel it till 16 but i was pregnant with twins and when a women knows her body she can be in tune and feel her child moveing

between my fourth and fifth there was a flutter... kinda felt like moving water.
