defining beauty... something artists, philosophers, mathmaticians and the religious are trying to do for ages.
most known thing from art is the golden ratio (about 1:1,6)
this size-ratio is everywhere in living nature, for instance the human face, or the spiral in a snail house. The golden ratio in wikipedia gives some picture examples and explains how using the golden ratio in arts and architecture makes beautifull things.

Another wellknown thing is Symmetry, sometimes called "the beauty for fools". When a persons face is more perfectly symmetrical (right half mirrors left half best), he/she is considered more beautifull. These people even have more succes in their professional life. This is based on the biological fact that symmetric individuals tend to be healthier. So it is about good mating partners, or strong co-workers. article on the most beautifull (symmetrical) mating partners for people and birds: http://www.jyi.org/volumes/volume6/issue6/features/feng.html
Sex often is a clue towards beauty: i like women with thick lips, big eyes, get that feeling in my stomach when a woman blushes. According to freud: women use make-up in that way that the will resemble the looks of a 16 year old girl most. Sweet sixteen ... So that explains my eye-thing. The lips he explains as: it will be the same down there. The blushing, (and using make-up blush) refers to the orgasm he sais, in that exciting moment the skin gets red.... well, read anything from Freud if you like this stuff
Ah, you were looking for beauty, higher things!!
In many religions there is a high understanding of "Sacred geometry". Shamans, buddism (mandalas), new age, islam, it is a thing that surpasses specific religions. It has more ratio's than only the golden ratio, and it involves symmetry as well in many ways.
My answer is getting lengthy: check out some sites no sacred geometry to investigate yourself. It is very special. and it links "high and low" (heaven and earth) feelings in a meaningfull gratitude.

generally, beauty is a word to express a good quality, for everything, including woman, computer, picture, works, scenery.
if u mean bout woman's beauty,
the true beauty in woman is stay deep inside woman's heart. That's why you must spend a long long time so that you can feel and touch that beauty in woman's heart.
the real beauty inside human is their inner beauty, which reflected in the way they speak, how they treat another, the way they think, the way they work, and every aspect of their life. The main beauty is inside heart.
