I just found out I'm pregnant (5 weeks) and the hormones are messing with my head! I was fine before but now I am constantly dropping things, bumping into things, forgetting things and messing stuff up at work :( Did anyone else suddenly get clumsy and forgetful in early pregnancy?

I would forget the most simple things in my day!!! I have walked out of the house, got into my car and reached for my keys...lo and behold, i didn't have them. i've forgotten so many things. i thought i was the clumsiest person. once i was getting ready to take my dog for a walk. i grabbed my coat, his leash, my keys, walked out the door and figured out half way down the walk...i forgot the dog! i hated it!

I did. I just found out I'm pregnant a couple weeks ago. I've been clumsy lately. I'll be walking and all of a sudden almost topple over to one side! I read in a baby magazine that the hormones do throw off your balance and center of gravity so that might explain it! Good luck with the pregnancy!

oh yes that is normal. I am still going through that at 39 weeks lol. It get's worse sadly, for me it got to the point where words I used to be able to pronounce, I could no longer pronounce and I had to constantly look up the meanings of words that I had known the meanings to for years.

My Hubby doesn't even want me in the Kitchen anymore because I forgot to turn the oven off the other day. Hopefully you wont get as bad as I have lol.

It's just hormones!!

yes with every pregnancy i get verry clumsy i always fall and skin a knee ALWAYS just once then i dont fall any more and its easy to be forgetful with so much going on in your life weather you planned this or not and weather you want this of not (not implying any thing) but with so much to think about its hard to concentrate on the task at hand

Haha, I would be in mid sentence and totally forget what I was saying. My friend teased me soo bad about it too, that is until she got pregnant and started to forget things too! I don't know what it is, or why it happens, but yes I got forgetful. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to come back after childbirth either.
