I say use shaving cream for men, or if you're a girl use Skintamit or something like that. It works really good! Also try the razor Shiick its really good, you can't even feel taht you're shaving and you never get razor bumps, unless you shave when there is nothing on the end!

1.do not shave against the grain (the direction the hair grows as this will create these bumps)

2.DO NOT press hard against the skin.

3.DO NOT stretch the skin to get a firmer shave.

4.USE an after shave lotion, I use an alcohol based one.

5.use a good brand razor, not those disposable that are good for nothing.

6.before you start soak the part you are going to shave in HOT water, meaning the highest temperature you can tolerate, as this will open up you pores and make the hair elastic and easier to shave. and prevent razor burns and bumps.

I think that's it, I may be missing something tho.

I hate those bumps!!! Different products say that you won't get them but I still do. I think there are some of us out there with really sensitive skin and there is nothing we can do about it. I've given up. I hope you find something that works for you!! Take care!

i use pfb vanish.

i had a really bad ingrown hair on my leg it was a huge bump and i used it daily and it worked.

for bikini area it works quite well just use it everyday, it also takes away the burning and itching sensation from shaving
