I don't think it means anything & I don't think you need to worry about it.
I've read that we can train ourselves to dream about whatever we wish. Well, most of us haven't mastered the art. I know I haven't.
I'm guessing that you have a crush on this guy you want to dream about. Relax. If he's on your mind that much, he'll probably be in your dreams sooner or later.
Will the 2 of you ever be together? I can't say, but that's another matter altogether.

There IS a way to learn to control your dreams...but it's very difficult and takes a very long time to learn and lots of practice.
So if you don't know that method, then you will just dream random things no matter how much you love or hate the person you WANT to dream about. It is NOT an inflection of your feelings about the person if you don't dream about them.

There are many factors that our dreams depend on. They can be a collection of memories stored and processed in our minds. They can resemble hidden desires and unconscious emotions, as Sigmund Freud asserts in his dream theories of manifest and latent content. So when it comes to wanting to dream about someone, one can't actually dictate on his or her mind the subject of what he/she wants to dream about because we only use a fraction of our brain and the rest of the "unused" parts of our brain has functions way beyond our voluntary control. So even if you want to dream about your own "Mr. McDreamy", it depends on how your mind will process your said desire.
