The 'man of your dreams' changes as you do. A young girl might just want someone cute, an older teen, Hot and smart. A woman in her 20's who hasn't met that right man yet, she will want more than just that. Someone who is caring plus good looking... The older we get, the more we realize what we want, so I don't believe there is just one trait, unless you are like12. I have noticed one of the most sought after trait is looks.

I doubt there is just one trait, rather a plethora of traits that make the man and them compatible. Typically it is common interests or hobbies, complementary personalities and being caring.

I got the man of my dreams who I thought was way out of my league by just being myself and not putting on an act.

It will vary between women. For many (most?) women there is no "one trait", but rather a variety of traits they deem necessary in a partner.
