I got an apple pie from McDonalds at 12:30am and it was awful, well i noticed the tag on it said 9pm. And it was very obvious that it was that old. Should I complain or is this ok? I dont like to pay for things that have been sitting that long.

I worked at McDonald's ten years ago so I can't remember how long they can leave things under the warmer. Since you
already ate or didn't eat the apple pie it is to late for anything
to be done now. Next time you go to McDonalds tell them
about your bad experience and make sure to ask them
for a fresh apple pie.

Yes you need to complain for your health reasons and remeber you are ALWAYS right. I am a ceritfied Health Inspector and there should be NO food that is in a warmer to keep temp for more then 20-40 mins. something that is in a warmer for 3 and 1/2 hours is gross and is uncalled for they should be sighted for it. every resturant has to run by a time table otherwise known as hold times and mcdonalds time for a Apple pie is 1 Hour. after that they should be thrown away and new ones made.

You should deffinatley complain. McDonald's standard times on pies are they are good for 4 hours. You should deffintaley speak to a manager about this problem.

That apple pie was definitely old. I think they have to throw away pies after like 1 hour. I can't remember, its been years since I worked at one.

Yes, complain. That is unacceptable. It already has a bad rep... SO i think it is totally bad when they are trying to improve it...

Unfortunatly this standard for McDonalds. If you really want to do something about it, go watch the movie "Supersize Me" and share it with everyone you know.

What do you expect for .50 cents? Gourmet food?

Mickey D's is what it is and nobody will ever change it.
