I was wondering why men fall asleep after sex & women are wide awake after it.

i always pass out after sex i dont know what ur talking about

this is so subjective, not all men and women react this way. Personally...If I dont get to finish, I'm awake. A little pissed. Men almost always finish and the energy is gone. Men don't need to reflect on the lingering feeeeelings after sex and so nitey nite. Again, each boyfriend has been totally different.

I've heard it's something to do with hormones. During orgasm the hormones Prolactin and Oxytocin are secreted, both of which facilitate sleep. Of course in order for this to be the actual reason you have to believe that men either orgasm more than women (I assume most women would agree), secrete more of these hormones during orgasm, or men are more susceptible to their effects. I'm not sure which, if any, of those are the actual cause but that's what I could find during a brief search.

If a woman is wide awake it's cuz she didn't get enough. They should both be sleeping.

i guess it mostly subjective, i'm usually active in the early morning hours and right after its almost time to get up and so i do sometimes i guess i just dozed off not because i'm tired but because i feel so gooood after sex that i feel very relaxed and contented. what a very gooooood life!!!!
