Germs and bacteria are what causes a baby to be sick. If your hands are clean (with soap and water or hand sanitizer) and you have not used a dirty cloth then you are fine. It would be just like washing the babies face off after they have eaten. No harm as long as you are sanitary about it.

no, it's not true. Just make sure the wash cloth is clean. I've seen people use dish cloths, and that is really unhygenic for the baby

no way jose yes u can clean him up i have 3 and it never was a problem
