hi there
OK it all depends on how much room u have ... yes red-tail boa's are very docile snakes but they require room they get 10 foot +if ur looking at smaller snakes then a Rainbow boa's, Sand boa's, Ball python's Children python's and Corn's.. etc. and any non venomous snake that grows under 6 foot is OK to have.... Burmese pythons , Rock pythons and Anaconda's get way too big and are known man eaters ...and only the very experience herp should have them...all get over 25 feet...

if you are a beginner hen i recommend the corn snake as they are the easiest snake to keep and care for. i would do a lot of research on them but here is some info i know: corn snakes are around £20 or more. there are a lot of different colour morphs which includes the normal colour morph and lots more. i know most of the basic care but there is that much i can't remember half of it. i hope my info has helped.

That depends on your requirements, how experienced you are, how much space you have, etc etc! What would be suitable for one person may not be suitable for another person.

In one of your other questions you state you're "new at this." How can you know a lot about snakes and 'be good' with them, if you're new to snakes?
