I have agonised for ages and I don't usually wear a lot of make-up, as my job as a chef does not necessitate it. Sometimes I like to fancy myself up but I don't know what is the best shade to use; a shade close to the freckles or a shade close to my natural skin tone?

Jane Iredale pressed mineral foundation in a shade that matches your natural skin tone. It looks and feels natural, almost like you're wearing nothing at all. It's a mineral make-up similar to Bare Essensials but in the pressed form, doesn't make the mess like B.E. But once you use it you won't go back to liquid or cream foundation again.

OK well, I think freckles are a wonderful gift the sun gives your skin. There has never been a need or a fashion to dip your face in foundation. I suggest though if it's 100% necessary find your skin colour tone in Napoleon foundation. I don't use foundation but my mum has freckles and she uses uses that brand. There is also a type of Napoleon foundation that sinks into your skin so you can see your freckles but you still cover up blemishes and marks or your face, this might be better if you like your freckles! I hope this helps. Good luck.
