Blue eyeshadow never went away - folks talk about is it still around! - Avon did a kit that is supposed to be geared to the color of your eyes; they used blue eyeshadow for blue eyes. Almay did the same thing. It never left the makeup stands - don't let them fool ya - MAC & Sephora carry any shade of blue you could imagine!!!

Yeah. I look like a clown if I were anything other than the neutrals and browns. But I have seen subtle blues and some navy on people they could pull it off. Not the iridescent blues of the 80's though.

Go with a deep sapphire colored eye liner or a navy colored mascara. A lot of people don't know it, but the navy makes the whites of your eyes appear brighter than if you wore black mascara or liner. Never wear blue shadow. You will see it come and go on runways or promoting one season's line of what's in. I've been worked on by NYC based runway artists and they have used it for dramatic affects, but you have to keep in mind that's like stage makeup, and you wouldn't wear it out on the street. From my experience, blue eyeshadow looks a bit trashy no matter what ethnicity you are, or what you wear with it. Girls with blue eyes definately shouldn't wear it because it detracts from the beauty of the eyes. Plus it screams "Tonya Harding" cerca 1992.

The thing is, right now the "natural look" is in. So, that doesn't include blue. But retro is getting pretty big now. The Marilyn look isn't real that in. But thickly applied BOLD blues are getting in. For thos gals who wanna be "original" , although you do have to pretty bold to wear it.
Summary: Not really for the "average woman" but you still definitely see it around.

Absolutely! Everyone is back in the retro make-up that made chicks hot in the 80's.

I have green eyes and wear violet and pink. My daughter has hazel eyes and wears blue. It looks nice.

It depends what type of shade of blue your using and how you carry yourself most girls can make it look good but it depends

Yes. You can find it at almost any drug store or Walmart. I got some for my daughter at Halloween to match her nail polish.

we are definately returning to the 80s. look at the sweat shirts, the television commercials, and the leg warmers. sadly, we have no fashion ideas of our own, so we have to borrow them from previous generations.
