The white man as FAT, BALD , STUPID , POOR or a combination of all of the above ? Do you notice it ? or are you so conditioned to accept how advertising is portraying the white American man. This type of racism is acceped by whitey because he is powerless to say something.

Example, cuz I haven't seen it.. but what I have seen is journalist/reporters interviewing people of their own race, for example,the news. The company will have a hispanic or a black reporter give coverage on/in a poor neighborhood. Also, on Insider, I noticed how the black reporter will interview a black celebrity. I guess it depends on the stations, what corp. are supporting/portraying things u find as racism

'Why do TV commercials do anything? TO GET YOUR ATTENTION, and they obviously done just that. Most all TV is slanted to someone's own view, that is why they have to pay to play the junk. and the mass majority of commercials these days are nothing much more than junk. Nobody is "powerless" when it comes to the TV, if it offends you, turn it off.

Yeah! And not just commercials sit coms are the same. What's up with that? All the guys like on Yes, dear, King of queens, etc. are portrayed as fat and dumb. I'm fat but not dumb.

I also hate sexist commercials that denigrate women. Like beer commercials for example. "drink the cool beer, and all the ladies will flock to you, even if you're a dork." uh huh... sure. Very denigrating to the intelligence of women.
