Heart shaped jewelry?
I think it is one of the tackiest things EVER!

I'm doing a search for star pendants & all these hearts keep popping up.

I do too. It doesn't matter what type stone it looks so cheap to me... I'm glad to know I'm not alone.

I used to hate it! I know what you mean...but after seeing a Tiffany & Co. bracelet with a little heart I realized that it wasn't the heart itself....but it was that memory of being young and giving your mom tacky heart-shaped stuff or having a boy give you a $5 dollar heart-shaped necklace...the stuff always looked tacky. Very recently...within the last year or so...I have seen one or two very nice pieces...another one I remember is a Swarovski necklace that looks brilliant. It still isn't my favourite stuff...but I don't feel quite the same way anymore.

I think it all depends on the design. If the actual shape of the heart, color(s), or what is said on it (that includes the font and other text related things), is different and original, it could work. Otherwise if it's those common ones, then yes, they are annoying.

the only thing I own heart shaped is a locket but other than that yeah I dont like it Oh wait I have an egyptian wedding ring and it has a heart in its design but not heart shaped

I would have to disagree with you on that one. I had a heart shaped diamond engagement ring & loved it dearly. My mom had given me several rings with my birthstone in heart shapes & they were favorites. It's more than the cut - it's the symbolism behind it.

hey, hey, hey!! I'm wearing a heart shaped ring. I've had it since I was 12 and never take it off but other then that, YES!! like the necklaces and stuff, gag me with a spoon.

99% of jewelry is tacky, especially the ones that pierce the body outside of lower ear piercings..
