The fan of my laptop goes on for long periods of time and at times gets noisy (nothing grinding... i guess it's just the blades going faster). Is it a virus or my laptop is overheating fast? I keep my laptop connected to AC Power almost all the time. I know that a fan's duty is to cool down the laptop... but now its running a lot now. What's up? What to do? Advice?

i think you answered your own question. obviously a program is hogging the cpu and causing it to run harder than it should. go to task manager and see which application is constantly taking up processing power and close it. else then maybe you've changed the fan setting on your laptop somehow, not sure, best of luck to ya.
