Do you like the happy ending when the main character(s) prevail or do you like a sad ending? I sometimes perfer sad endings. For example, if the main character doesn't get to live his dream...*sob*...I usually...*sob*...
LMAO and say,"Haha, to bad dawg, maybe next season you will succeed!!"

Happy endings are bittersweet at best. They are unrealistic, over-cliched and very predictable.
I like the sad endings. It's more realistic to me and not often done. It's very unpredictable because you never know who'll kick the bucket next.
Most people like happy endings because they like happy things. They live in a fantasy world.
People who like sad endings are living in reality. Why?
Not everything ends happily.

I prefer sad endings because happy endings are too often and too unrealistic. I hate how the good guys so often seem untouchable while the bad guys are expendable.
The reality is that good people die & not every story has a happy ending. It's bitter, but it's true.

I like endings that aren't sad and depressing. It's the last episode and after you watch a sad ending, you usually end up crying or getting all upset.

I like happy endings but sad ending are meaningful. I don't want a sad ending because I love the characters and I don't want them to be separated from everyone else. It makes me wonder "why did they have to die!!!!??!!!".

Mostly I would say it depends on the anime. If I'm REALLY ATTATCHED to it, then a happy one. If I'm an average fan (not missing an episode for the relative life of me), then it doesn't matter; just make sure the last chapter has no cliffhangers: that's annoying.

You know i like both, like with Karin that was a persect ending...
but with... wait theres no animes i have watched that had a sad ending i liked!!! go 4 the happy endings with closer.

i prefer the happy ending.. i dont like the sad ending like samurai x: reflection that was showed at animax bcoz i will cry. whn i watch it, im sooooo SAD bcoz my fav character was dead.. :(
