i have sirius radio and it can play mp3 players, i have a ipod, everything i see online plugs into the lighter, but the radio has a hole already there to play ipod

If its an aux in port, get an auxiliary in cable, they're super cheap. Its like a chord, with two head phone jacks(right word im not sure). You'll now it when you see it.
