Even if you're asking in general, this questions is too broad to be answered. Each person has a diverse personality no matter the skin colour, so if one black person does not like an asian, it represents only the person, not the group or population. Like and dislike are based upon the individual, never on a group, despite what stereotyping would have you believe.

Since I am black I will answer you question. I personally do not have anything against Asians. My aunt is from Philippines. Personally, I do believe that some Asians(not all) do look down on blacks, just to assimilate themselves with the dominate in our society. But many people and not just Asians look down on blacks even other blacks. That is my only reason why they would. Truth be told, if your cool with me I'm cool with you. Take care and God bless.

Wow..well I think Asians are awesome..(I am white). I think that now that since a few ignorant people picked on them, a few (not all ) bad eggs are looking to pick on another race...but this is not limited to blacks and Asians....you have good and bad people in every race

Light-skinned Asians (Japanese, Koreans, Northern Chinese) tend to be dismissive toward Blacks, so sometimes the feeling is reciprocated.
Darker-skinned Asians (Cambodians, Viets, Filipinos, Indonesians, Indians) are, in general, ok with Blacks and Blacks are ok with them.
PS: Perhaps no other groups is worse toward Blacks than light-skinned Indians, though.

Not in general.
Unless in specific areas like South Central Los Angeles, where many Korean businesses (ie, liquor stores, cleaners, hamburger stands) were thought to be taking advantage of the fact that there was no real competition and was price gouging....
Several incidents (incl. the Latasha Harlins incident only added fuel to the fire)...

Not all blacks are against asians. That's just stupid. My friend is black and she's also friends with asians.

No, no, no, it's the GREY aliens that have a beef with asians, probably because of those "eyes". Blacks, on the otherhand, have a beef with the WHITE aliens. Whites . . .the human ones . . . have a beef with pork. And pigs have a beef with Jews, as you can imagine. Jews have a beef with Barbara Streisand, which is completely understandable. Left-handed people have a beef with people who prefer sex with their own gender. People who don't prefer sex with their own gender have a beef with people who prefer dogs over cats. Cats have a beef over neocons. Neocons have a beef over dogs. Dogs have a beef with Hindus and Muslims, but only during Lent. The Pope has a beef with pedophiles. Pedophiles have a beef with Big Bird. Big Bird has a beef with teenagers. Teenagers have a beef with anyone who has a job. The unemployed have a beef with Republicans. And, Republicans have Bush. And, as I've heard, Bush has a beef with the U.S. Constitution. Asians? Well, I think they don't eat much beef.

In California state University, there are so many smart Chinese students applying that they had to bar them just so that there would be a balance of blacks admitted.
