I voted against Bush the first time because I did not feel he was intelligent enough to make good decisions and because I knew I disagreed with him on some fundamental issues, like huge tax breaks for corporations and the wealthy, pro-choice/pro-life, the environment etc. Watching him debate on televison with a man who was clearly much brighter than him only confirmed what I suspected.

I voted against him the second time because his first term proved everything that I thought about him. He isn't particularly smart. He is stubborn and doesn't seem to care what even the MAJORITY of Americans think.

My opinion is that there are few things as dangerous as a person in a position of power who is not very smart, is very stubborn and ignores advice he does not agree with. Countless disasters and terrible times in history have been the result of such men.

Again, this is just my opinion, but any poll will tell you that at least 3/4 of the country agrees with me to some degree at this point.

The man does not have a plan. There isn't anyone on earth who thought Iraq could stand up against our might. So, as perfect a plan it was to invade the country, no thought was given to how to rebuild it afterward. And yet, years later, we still have no idea how to get out of Iraq.

Second, Bush is destroying the environment be it by oil drilling in Alaska, allowing lumber companies to chop down more trees or easing environmental standards on big companies. Never mind we are in Iraq to preserve oil. We should be looking for new energy resources, but we are not.

Third, he has done little to help the economy. Our car companies are getting killed by the asian manfacturers (and you can make an arguement its their own faults). But Bush has done nothing to bail out the US auto makers and he has no problem letting our white collar jobs go overseas to India.

He is against stem cell research. How can anyone vote against stem cell research with Christopher Reeve and Michael J. Fox in attendance? His education policy 'No Child Left Behind' has actually lowered US education standards.

I honestly believe he is not an evil person and he is doing his best. However, the man is not qualified to lead the world's strongest nation. He has isolated us from the rest of the world (especially Europe, a powerful economic ally). I am not putting him down, but he really shouldn't be in office and it is truly amazing that he is a two-term President.

the same reason i am going to vote against Hillary if she runs, unless the republicans slap a Bush yes-man on the ballot.
I think the term limits, should apply to immediate family members as well.
popping in another family member after another, is exploitation of a loophole, that allows people to circumvent the term limits.

This country is in debt to the tune of $30,000 for each and every American that breaths air. do the math 300 million people X 30 grand each. If this is not the most important issue on every body's agenda then there is something wrong with you. Anybody could give taxes breaks out, hell i could do that, the problem is that you have to actually pay for them, Economically this country is in the worst shape that's it's ever been in.

He is an alcoholic draft dodger and I am a Vietnam Veteran with 8 years active and 2 tours in Korea as well!!

I have issues with him, especially when he started executing women, grandmothers and a person who was a child when he committed his act and incompetent as an adult.

The 2nd time was all the lies and another war based on lies, and tax cuts for the rich and oil companies while he cuts programs for veterans and the poor and robbing the poor! Bush was so pro military that he cut widow benefits in 1/2 and he tried to take away combat pay for those in Iraq! That is sick!

I have a lot more!

Many Americans voted against George Bush because they do not want his foreign policies.
