She doesn't want a divorce, even though she claims he abuses her, because she lied to get citizenship in the USA. She married him for this purpose, in Nevada, and now wants to get him arrested, thinking by doing this she'll still get to stay in the country legally. She's 'convinced' the government that the marriage was legitimate through her lies and now wants him out of her life without having to divorce him. He's blackmailing her? If he is, she placed herself in the situation to be blackmailed and she can get herself out of it by telling the truth. She wants him to go to jail when she should be going to jail and/or being deported herself.

Drop dead, I'm reporting you. See how you like jail.

Read her other questions first. She married this man to become a US citizen, and since the marriage was a scam has ended up with a man who treats her badly (so she claims) and doesn't want to divorce him because she might get deported. So she wants to stay with him and try to secretly record him during the times she considers to be him abusing her.

She has used him and the US government to gain citizenship, who knows what else she has done. She is playing the "poor woman' routine and I am seriously considering turning her into Immigration Services.

He can't blackmail you if there isn't anything to use against you. You say that he's been blackmailing you since day one, which means it's been going on for about a year now, and you've obviously been giving in to him. I know that you've lied about your marriage being a true marriage, which is probably part of what he is blackmailing you about, since it's been going on since day one. You probably made a verbal agreement to give him money and pay his expenses as part of him marrying you, and now you want out. Of course, you can't have put that in writing, otherwise you'd have solid evidence to use against you. However, there are all of the receipts for bills you have paid and money you've, which shows a paper trail leading to you.

Go find a good lawyer. He can not blackmail you. If he is a citizen then you have legal rights and as long as the marriage is legal you can get a legal separation in which he has to pay support.

so basically your afraid you be deported
well i got bad news for you
he can file for divorce in nevada
and he does not ned your consent to do it
so do him a favor
go on welfare
do NOT give him any money
he'll be stuck with the bills
as one provision of marrying a forigen bride is that they sign a contract with th goverment so that if the spouse goes on welfare
he be stuck with it
you need to be married at least 2 years
then you can divorce\apply for residency status
and an adjustment of status
and you will not be deported back to russia
