Warm showers will relax you and open your pores. Cold showers will stimulate you and close your pores.
If you are going for good skin, take warm showers, wash well with soap or cleanser, rinse with warm water (this will open your pores, then clean your pores, then rinse the soap from pores) then when you are completely rinsed (don't want to close pores over soap) do a cold rinse. I used to do this all the time, sometimes I still do in warm weather.

Honestly, I've never heard anything about showering in a certain temperature affecting your skin. However, I know that showering in cool water is better for your hair and makes it more shiny.

hot water opens poors, and cold water closes them.
my best suggestion is to take a shower at whatever temperature you like, and then right before you get out. . . just turn it cold for a min. You will have the best skin out there!

No but it is less comfortable. Shower with warm and do the final rinse with a cooler water. This will close up your pores.

I think it does! With cold water, it gradually increases your blood circulation. In case of hot water, it instantly does the same thing but after some timeyour blood circulation will be slowed down.

Hot water will dry your skin out, cold water will just make you nip out, use just warm water and use a skin firming moisturizer after you shower.

I'm not sure. BUT, rinsing your hair with cool water is supposed to make your hair shinier. And that's a fact.
