My husband has a shirt that he's had since before we knew each other (that's eight years or more!) I've never seen him wear it. And yes, he refuses to let me get rid of it.

No all men don't have lucky shirts . How would you feel if your boyfriend tossed out something you really liked and new you couldn't replace it ? That is an invasion of privacy and in less you want your BF to toss you I would leave his shirt alone . Hope it is not to late !!!!

Yeah, don't do that. You only get that privilege if you're MARRIED, and even then it could be grounds for divorce.
You CAN, however, put it in the hamper, then leave it there... never wash it, never let it see the light of day for a while.
