Helo everyone, I would like to know if my friend is crazy or not, he sleeps in his Hot snake room!!! He currently keeps a Malaysian King Cobra, Monocled Cobra, New Guinea Taipan, Mojave Rattler, 2 Copperheads, "Gabino" Viper, Rhino and a tree viper. Is he crazy?

TO patois: First off he owns the snake in the picture but it is at a Zoo after it hit 20 feet, and second that picture was already proven a fake.

To SombodyWhoKnows: Him and my Dad (they share the king cobra but my mom wouldn't let my dad keep in our house) care for there snakes more than anyone I know, they handle them very well and they let me handle one of the copperheads :-)

Nope, not crazy. Hopefully he has respect for his pets, however, as they are dangerous. I would hope that he has knowledge of how to handle venomous snakes and has taken safety precautions like having a snake bite kit nearby and ensuring nearby medical facilities have antivenin.
Your friend is a bit unusual in his choice of pets, but not necessarily crazy!

I myself love snakes (except for that smell, eww) but, I mean a Gabino viper? thats 1 step stronger than a Gaboon viper, those can attack at anytime for no reason. So yes, pretty much.

i like snakes but i think your friend is crazy. snakes are escape artist. if one gets out and he moves wrong in his sleep that could be the end of him
