The mail delivery person receives mail just like everyone else. It would disrupt the delivery system even more if they had to set aside mail for postal employees.
They may get certified or registered mail at the office a little quicker than other people.

If they live in the area they serve they can get it at the post office, but if they live in another area they just have it delivered to their home.
