How do you know there will never be another person? Of all the people in the world, how are you sure that the one you are with is the one you were made to be with? Why are we so faithful that no other would do? What makes "the one", "the one"? Is it possible to have more than one soulmate?

For sure it is. My best friend is my soulmate. He has been for years. But my husband is a different sort of soul mate. They are both unique and both love me well. If the bestfriend weren't friends with my husband etc...I'd probably have to end it, but they are both big hearted people who are okay with it.

Yes its possible to have more than 1 soulmate. Although I married and have not cheated on my wife, I always believed that after meeting another female at a party, we knew that we were meant to be, I always wondered how can this be.

I have a soulmate and I cannot imagine finding another one. There is no way there could be another person on this earth who fits with me the way he does - like a nut and bolt - I don't see how it's possible.

I've met 2 soulmates, one as a lover, the other as a best friend, probably would have been more if she was'nt married.

If a person is truly your soulmate you don't want anyone else. That's how you know they are the one.

I thk tht thy do! I thik once you find tht other half you knw it and its amazing the way you compliment each other but I also hk tht there is more than one soul mate. Not sure if im explaining it right but I thk tht God gives us more than one chance at a soul mate, tht does contradict the phrase soul mate but its wht I thk. Its tht person tht does those thngs tht you hate doing and or dont knw how to do very well. He/she knws by looking at you wht you need w/out you saying a word and puts up w/your pms! Holds your hand when you least expect it and all of a sudden during a fight just stops comes over to you and gives you a big kiss and hug!!! The one tht your mind keeps going back to after some other thought goes through your mind!!! Thts wht I see it as!!! Hope it helps.

I have heard and read that soul mates are more often best friends rather than partners(spouses, lovers, etc). As far as "The One," I would doubt that there is just one, or that we were made to be with that one person. Some of it is just timing.
