I have tons of heels, I just feel awkward when I wear them. I feel like I look like I'm trying too hard. I try to tone it down by wearing them with jeans and a simple top, but I still feel weird in them. How can I pull them off?

heels are sexy. remember that. I'm a heels fettish.

if you feel that the people arround you looking at your feet or your heels, just remember they think it sexy and nice, people wont see if it doesnt look good. even though may be yer heels isn't nice, they just look and thats it. make em stare at yer feet.
adore yer heels, and adore you.

just be confident and tell yer self, you are absolutely fine.

You feel awkward because you don't wear them often.
You can pull it off by wearing them with a dark pair of jeans (I personally think that dark pairs of pants look great with heels-and SOMETIMES light pairs.) I also think that you should stick to shoes that aren't too tall. If you start out by wearing shoes with a 1/2 inch heel and make your way up higher, then maybe you won't feel so awkward.
Also, maybe you should wear a nice casual top. Like a 3 quarter sleeve, button shirt or something like that. You will have to iron it and stuff but maybe if you wear shirts like those then that will help.

You can wear heels whenever you want but try not to wear them on a daily basis. Wear flats or some comfy shoes on some days. Your feet will hurt if you wear heels all the time.

I hope I helped!!

I think that the only way that you'll get used to them is by wearing them. I think it's a good idea that you're wearing them with jeans, but are they long jeans? Longer jeans will cover up the heel part and probably make you feel less awkward. I suggest buying some tall style jeans just for your heels.

I hope I helped!!

Perhaps high heels are just not for you. I have worn them for many years and I feel comfortable in them, the higher the better for me. I do have a friend who is in your shoes though, she also feels awkward and is not comfortable in heels no matter how hard she tries. I would say don't stress over it and find some other types of shoes that you are comfortable in wearing. It should feel good, not awkward.

I use to be the same way. I never ever wore heels and I felt like I looked like I was trying to hard when I would wear them. It's stupid, really. Just wear em and walk in em. There's no other way you'll get over it. You probably don't even look like you can't walk, you probably just think that. That's what I did - kept wearing em and eventually got use to em. Jeans is a good way.

I sorta have the same problem. I have alot of heels and i continue to buy them because they match different outfits, but when it come down to actually leaving the house i usually leave with flats. You just have make urself wear them in order to get use to them. You are almost never going to really pull the heel off if you don't feel comfortable in them, people are going to be looking at you saying, "oh she looks cute, but she looks kind of awkard."

If you feel awkward, then they look awkward. You might be wearing heels that are too high or simply are poorly made. A good pair of leather heels (like Nine West pumps, non-stiletto) should be comfortable to wear around a lot.

If you feel awkward in heels, maybe try a wedge type shoe. Its a less obvious heel and would be more comfortable to walk in. Also choose a heel that suites your body type. for examply if you are on the full figured side dont wear tiny heels, and vice versa if you're thin.

To be honest i'm like you i have so many of them and i don't feel awkward in them but what i do is i wear them when i go out to dinner or to the club. So if i was start by wearing them at night time only until you no longer feel awkward in them and then slowly you get the hang of it.I hope i helped, take care and always be you, wear what you like and do you.

Try to feel comfortable walking in them first. You can practice wearing heels around the house and just walk in it. Otherwise, try going for lower heels and not such high heels so that you can walk naturally. good luck.

Just think it's making you look so hot! Make your self wear them a for like a week and by the end you will feel more confident in them and be walking better in them. Heels make every woman look taller, slimmer and it lifts your butt (making it look fitter) and calf mussels! Put them on and strut your stuff girl!
