AMD makes the processor and maybe the chip set but not the motherboard and it is the motherboards BIOS you want to upgrade or update, not the processor. To find out who makes your motherboard you will need to open your computer. Once opened the motherboard is the large rectangular electronics board sitting flat on the bottom of your computer, with everything attached to it, hence being called the motherboard. You will find what is known as PCI slots on the board the other cards are slid into and it is usually between the first two PCI slots you will find the name of your motherboard. Some known names: Abit, Asus, Biostar, etc. Once you get the name and the very important part number, then you type in the boards maker at any search engine and there you are. And yes a BIOS update will usually address larger hard drives. Good Luck

Goto the website of the maker of the motherboard. As one has already pointed out, AMD is a cpu, not a motherboard. Open the case and look for the model on the motherboard.

Normally you download BIOS updates from the motherboard manufacturer, or from the PC manufacturer if you own a big name PC(dell,hp/compaq,etc.) If you're facing a 32GB or 64GB limit look here http://wims.rainbow-software.org/ and I would highly reccomend reading some stuff here http://www.wimsbios.com/index.jsp and ask the real BIOS experts in the forums there if you need to.
