An oldie like Alice in Chains?
The Pixies, anything off of their albums Surfer Rosa, Doolittle, or even some of Bossanova.
There's always Iced Earth, or In Flames.
Then you could get into something like Dream Theater if you're willing to give up the harsher sounding vocals.
