Yes! I think teachers and parents have to make those decisions all the time, and as morally correct adults and people, we have to do this also. Don't we often tell little white lies to our children, for the good of their psyche and well being?
I tell my children the dog ran away, to save them knowing that he actually died by a drunk driver, and likewise I tell my students that they look beautiful, when actually they look a mess. They can't see themselves (they are blind) but it still builds their self-esteem and then allows us a chance to work on hygiene.
I think it's o.k. We have to do something for the greater good.

yes of course. sometimes when you do something wrong for the greater good. it has a good outcome. when you do something wrong for a bad reason it has a bad outcome. the reason you do things is for the outcome. when people do bad things they know that there bad. but they think maybe this will work. but if it's not just to help yourself then yes.

Yes, I'd definately agree.
For example, you know killing someone is VERY wrong, but if you have to, to like save the world or something, I would guess it's okay. But I would still try to do something different. And try to NOT doing something as bad. If it's the only option, I guess it would be alright.

If I am a socialist, then sure I do.
If not, then I have to know the circumstance.
'Right' and 'wrong' can also be a matter of opinion or perspective varying in culture, etc.
Will I break the unjust law in order to have it changed for the population?
You bet.
Will I commit murder in order to prevent murder?
Absolutely not.

I do think so, but I wouldn't. I don't care to take the flak for someone else's good, unless it's a family member.
