I'm leaning towards Nintendo Wii just cuz it's cheaper. Is the X-Box worth the money?

I have both systems. The Wii is a fun system but has limited 3rd party support. X-Box 360 is a good long term bet. There are hundreds of great games and the online features are best in class. I would go with the 360

The Wii, even though it does not play DVD's (most people have a DVD player already) it is the better gaming system. I recently purchased and X-box 360 for $300 and I will be returning for the Wii because it is simply more fun to play and has more variety with the nun chucks, wii-mote, and controller all able to interact with the system. It's even cheaper than the 360 the Wii is only $250!

DEFINITLY Wii.
Many people have chosen the Wii that stores are trying to get people to buy Xbox's instead. Please don't fall for this hideous trick.
The Wii is far more advanced than the Xbox 360. of course, as you know, its wireless, Internet capable, wifi gaming, etc.
The Xbox does have Internet, although it is quite hard to use Internet with a Joystick and a button when you can surf the Internet faster and easier, where its wireless mouse. Nintendo is developing keyboard and mouse soon.
For now, Wii is at a early stage, for many more channels and accessories are going to come out. The Xbox360 is already done, and what you see is what you get.
In the future, I believe the Wii will definitly outbeat the Xbox360.

i own both and they are both at the same level only the internet gaming for wii is free and xbox live is monthly.

wii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have one and they rock you have a wirless remote and it comes with a game it's fun fun fun!!oh my gosh I can't even begin to tell you how much fun it is just get one it is so much fun I swear!see I'm serious that doesn't happen much if you get one let me know I can help you with your q's I am like an expert I can also tell you which games are good
