because acuras are hondas and enthusiast are more into whats underneath the hood and acuras are all honda engineering. Not to mention that in japan there are no acuras they all just say honda on them. the japaneese versions of the cars are faster bc of regulations so alot of guys want you to think they have the real japaneese version.

Just to put something different on the car. I'm stationed in Japan and the Acuras have Honda signs on them. Honda makes Acura also

Acura is really an affiliated company of Honda
So Honda essentially makes Acura, just with a diffrerent brand name. And Acura does have its own sign, but some people prefer to go with the big picture.

honda is the important author of acura some acura fashions got here out wit honda co. on their engines until eventually 2000 if im not mistaking after that 12 months acura doesnt advertice honda on their engines

Because an Acura is an over glorified Honda. Look at the engine of an Acura. it says Honda on it.

Well, since everyone elses answer is 'it's an overglorified Honda' I'll explain. Certain Honda and Acura models are essentially the same car just with minor differences in design. One example is the Acura RSX and the Honda Integra. When people go for JDM they remove the Acura logos to make it true to it Japanese counterparts.

only the US has acura Japan has only honda.acura is a name in the US we use market names to promote acura to be the better car than honda and have the same motor the parts that fit on some honda civics are cheaper than the name acura. this is how we maket products.

Honda practically owns Acura. If you ever had the chance to look under the hood of an Acura, you'll see H_O_N_D_A on the valve cover of the engine.
