i personally am a 16 but that's because i just had a baby and gain alot of weight but before i got pregnant i was a 7 and almost all my friends are 7's depending on a girls height but a woman about 5'3 should be in a size 7-9

Average is about a size 14 in the US.
I wear a size 6-8 on top and a size 8-10 on the bottom. HTH : )

I wear a size 9/10, I do have curves though! I think between a 5-10 would be good for 18+ depending on your body type.

Well I wear a size 16. Yes I know I'm over-weight however; I don't care. I'm perfectly happy with the way I am. I wouldn't change it for the world.
But I do think it's rather disgusting to see these girls in like 0-7 size pants. It just doesn't make sense to me. Obviously.. SOMEONE'S NOT EATING!

according to most reports I have seen on shows like Oprah to Dateline indicate that the average woman in america is the following;
Weight 152
Height 5'4"
Size 14 (over 50% of american woman are 14 or larger)
Average shoe size 9
I personally wear a 12 - 14 depending on the store.

Average size for that age would be between a 5 and 9. The older you get the higher the average goes.
