There were a few "white teacher saves inner city kids," cliches, but other than that, it was pretty good. I liked how the kids learned about Anne Frank, etc, and I loved the part w Miep Gies. Mario (the singer) was really good too--I guess there are some singers who can act...

Havent seen the movie because I getting tired of these kinds of movies. A Causcian man or women is always helping and saving inner city black and Hispanic kids. Come on I know that there are great teachers out there that are minorities who have made a difference in our schools. But I feel like they are not recognized for their efforts. It's time to stop making all the black and hispanics look like they dont give a care about school and all they do I kill and steal. I feel that people need to look further and wake up and realize that they are different races, African American, Latin American, Asian American, etc. who made a difference and need to be recognize for their actions. Does anybody else see this?

Like everyone else, I thought I would disliked it because of the "teacher saves the hood" cliche but it was actually really good. I think the young actors did a very good job. I really enjoyed it.

Hit the same old cliche for me.

Poor troubled teens somehow turn their lives around in a time span of what 2 months with the help of white giving teacher who never gives up and fights off authoritive figures saying "you're wasting your time"

Is that all they can come up with these days?

My sister and I saw the movie last night. It was a great movie. My sister said that it inspired her to never take an education for granted. I really liked the way they came together as one. I would definitely see this movie again.

I saw it, but I liked Aaron Russo's "Freedom To Fascism" a lot better. You can watch it on Google video, or you can buy it off Amazon video.
