Eddie was far more influential, I think

Randy was very Technical, Eddie was looking for his own sound. If Randy had a chace to really show what he was capable of, I think he would have been as big and any player. Randy taught guitar and was still teaching when he was with Ozzy. Eddie taught himself how to play, use to lock himself in a closet for hours to practice, besides someone showing him a few chords he learned on his own. Two very different styles, but I could not pick one over the other.

I don't know Rhodes, but there's a plenty of better guitarists that Van Halen, please! examples : Ritchie Blackmore, Steve Vai, Wes Montgomery, Tony Mottola, Cacho Tirao, Eduardo Falu, Al DiMeola, Paco de Lucia........

U know, it'z too bad Randy passed
away @ such a young age. His technique waz quite classically
arranged. He influenced many bandz.
