Why, yes, of course it did. Some people think it hit an iceberg but it actually ran into a pyramid. They were way off course, you see, and it turned right at the Sphynx and skidded through the sand until it came to rest at the tomb of the great pharoah. Honest.

According to all eyewitness accounts, HMS Titanic sank because it hit an iceberg on its maiden voyage in April 1912.
Since the ancient Egyptians were also adept sailors, I seriously doubt they would curse a ship built some 1500 years after their great civilization ceased, or even care. The world of modern man would be a completely foreign one to the ancients.
The few curses that have been found in ancient Egypt have to do with disturbing the remains of the deceased because the ancients believed that the body must remain intact and recognizable to the soul in order to have an afterlife.
As far as the infamous mummy's curse of King Tutankhamen and the death of Lord Carnarvon who financed Howard Carter's expedition, that was a fabrication cooked up by the journalists then in order to sell more newpapers at the time.
Lord Carnarvon had been in ill health for years; in fact, he vacationed in Egypt for his poor health, and thus became interested in its ancient history. Lord Carnarvon died of an infected mosquito bite that turned into blood poisoning that killed him. This was before the discovery of penicillin later in the 1920's, and many people then died of infections.
Howard Carter, who originally opened the tomb and examined the mummy of Tutankhamen died of natural causes in 1939, some 17 years after the tomb was discovered in November 1922.
Ironically, in recent years, it has been found that the dust inside ancient Egyptian tombs could cause infections from bacteria and viruses that have been sealed up for years. Many Egyptians died of communicable diseases, such as smallpox and other plagues.
In the late 1800's in New England, because mummy wrappings (of linen) were used to make butcher paper, there was an outbreak of Typhus caused by exposure to ancient germs.
So, sorry, no curse, just modern man's arrogance and ignorance caused the deaths of the unfortunate passengers of HMS Titanic that cold night in April 1912..

I doubt that many ancient Egyptians were familiar with either ocean liners or icebergs to impose such a curse

No, more likely due to poor mettalurgy that put a very high sulfer content metal in the hull which made the metal too rigid in the cold waters, so when the iceberg hit, it shattered the metal

According to the movie, they were trying to impress their investors by making a speed record to its first destination. Or they say the owner of the ship said that "even God cant sink this ship". I don't know, take your pick.
