thanks!

For objects which are geometrically similar (a cube, sphere, cone, or any object in which every dimension maintains the same proportions) the surface area varies as the square of a dimension and the volume as the cube of that dimension. For example if you double the diameter of a sphere the surface area increases four times and the volume eight times. Mathematically the volume increases by the power of 3/2 of the surface area.

Some characteristics of an object are determined by volume (for example mass or heat content) and some by surface area (for example air resistance or often heat flows). This means for example large objects with the same geometry will have lower air resistance relative to their weight and will fall faster in air or will stay hot or cold longer.

Surface area of a body is the area of the sheet formed by a body when it is unfolded while volume is the quantity of a substance that comprises that body or substance that can b filled in that body if it is hollow. There is no general relation for surface area and volume but a relation can be formed for some special shapes like cylinder, cube, sphere etc. Surface area to volume ratio is used in designing ships and related things. A body which displaces more volume( or mss) of water than its own mass is uitable to float on water.

that should be the heaviest solids if weight and structure were the identity traits. Take 2 products of similar weight and structure. The densest one, which includes plutonium ought to have least quantity. fairly lately 2 new elements were chanced on at Berkeley - 116 and 118 (stated by technique of their type of protons). yet if you're searching for a shapewise answer then it truly is a flat sheet. The flatter, the added ideal to satisfy your requirement to reduce quantity to floor. and that i declare it does not be counted what 2 dimensional structure it took see you later because it replaced into flat. As a theory try, imagine that an merchandise should be flattened all the way down to a million molecule thick. you've got all molecules uncovered and the area should be the area of one million molecule situations the type of molecules interior the object. So both dimensional structure does not be counted. Flatness is the most.
