I have about 50-60 retired beanie babies and I need to know where I can sell them. Preferably to a collector.

Might try Ebay, or look online for some beanie baby conventions, if they still have them, or some collector sites to see if they have like message boards where people are looking for them.

On ebay, but do your research first. Most will only be worth a few cents, but you might just have something valuable. Two websites that might help you (as well as completed listings on ebay) are www.smartcollecting.com and www.aboutbeanies.com.

Things like hang-tag generations are important. (I take it they still have tags - without them, they will be pretty worthless). First thing to look for is any which have a tag with only "ty" on them - no star, etc. These are the first three generations and are generally worth more.

Hope this helps

ebay is really the only market left for them. If you really wanted to sell them locally, you could place an ad in the newspaper. But honestly, you will get the most money for them on ebay.
