Lucid dreaming actually is possible. It just takes a lot of mental training to retain a certain level of consciousness during REM sleep. There are several books written on the subject you can find on Amazon.com or check out Barnes & Noble. There is also a foundation called "The Lucidity Institute". They have a website, though I forget the exact address. Try a google search.

YES! It's called lucid dreaming where you can see your dream as if its real and you can even feel smell and touch stuffs and you can even control it... but i guess you have to go a neurologist or psychologist or someone like that... There's some seminars and classes for that too. There are even tapes, tutorials, books you can buy over bookstores but i guess it's hard to find those books since it's kinda limited. Heres a tip... when you're in a dream, try to focus on one object you see there and everything will follow..â¥

I have done it before a handful of times, but accidentally not deliberately.
The first step is to realize you are dreaming while you are asleep. It takes a lot of discipline. You have to get in the habit of questioning yourself throughout the day and asking yourself if you are dreaming.
You need to create that pattern so that you end up asking yourself if you are dreaming in your dream, just out of habit. Then, if it doesn't wake you up, you can have a lucid dream!

I had a lucid dream once but I couldn't control it. I fell off a surfboard and went straight to the bottom. I thought I was going to drown but I noticed the water wasn't wet. Then I stood up, looked around, and started talking to people. It was the awesomest dream I ever had.

i do that all the time..it's usually when I am first starting to fall asleep so I am still a bit conscious. Lucid dreams invite the reasoning eye of your consciousness to help organize confusion.

I did that only once in my entire life. I'll never forget the sensation, though. I was able to FLY and control my floating. I felt like a bird, flying free in the sky during that dream. What a nice memory...

It's really weird, sometimes I repeat dreams, so that I know what's going to happen next. Also, if something happens/ is about to happen, and I don't like the way it's going in my dream, I can somehow change it, is that what you're after?

No, but if the TV is on, and its a rerun, I predict it before I wake up. I will hear a line from the show being said in my dream. I wake up. Then 2 minutes later the line is said on TV.
