Well I am from Indy but now live in Louisiana. And I do have this also as the SuperBowl matcup.
Yes I do believe they can beat the Colts. The Saints will put enough pressure on Manning to limit his big play oppurtunities. Also, the Saints will worry less about the run but will have to keep an eye on Addai. The Saints will win this one on a big play by th eir offense. A victory by 7 pts or less.

We'll never know for sure this post season because they could only meet in the Superbowl and they won't be the teams in the Superbowl. You'll have to wait and see what happens next year. Bears will beat the Chargers in the Superbowl.
With that said, if these two where to play each other this post season the Saints would have to start praying that somehow their name would help them because they wouldn't have a chance against the Colts.

No. The Saints cannot beat the Colts. Than again, not many teams can.
To me, the Indianapolis Colts have both a superior offense and defense, plus they play in the superior AFC conference. The Colts practically field a Pro Bowl roster with Manning, Harrison, Wayne, Freeney, Mathis, Sanders... Therefore, the Colts are rock-solid both on offense and defense. In the Playoffs, the defense has become outstanding, and the Colts have only given up 14 points so far in this year's postseason. The Saints have a solid defense, but they gave up several long plays to Jeff Garcia, and should Manning ever play the Saints, he would torch their secondary.

As an avid Colts fan, YES N.O. can beat Indy. Any given Sunday. I'd love to even BE in the Superbowl, but the Colts have to play the winner of the NE/SD game first. Here's to seeing you in Miami next month.

ANY team can beat ANY team, ANY given day. It all depends on who comes out to play, and does exactly that, plays, commits little error, and plays to as close as perfection can come..
YES they can beat them.. but it's unlikely considering the Colts defensive line is finally playing correctly.. and if they keep it up.. it's the Colts who are SB champs.. hands down.. it all depends on if they play like they have, and if peyton finally decides to play smart football..

That would be a interesting match-up and I would have to say yes and the reason being is the backfield of Deuce and Bush. Indy has had trouble stopping the run and if N'awlins could get those two guys going they could run up and down the field and shorten the game. Just remember the Giants did the same thing to beat the Bills in the early 90's. It can be done.
