Or is it mostly via protesting marriage?

Either way, its not right to judge others, and I am sorry for all my brothers and sisters that have hurt you. Yes, the Bible calls it sin. But many things church people do is also sin and we find the capacity to support each other. I know Christians hooked on porn, ones that drink, ones that judge and alot more. I have also come to know and love many gays though a 12 step group I belong to.

Anyhow, I would just like to let you know you are loved. Please don't reject G-d's message because of the messangers. It is so sad when I see this. G-d desires personal fellowship with you! I know this to be true. If it matters, I am a straight Christian male if you didn't already guess.

So, do you desire to know G-d personally? He does. Unconditionally. And church attendance is nothing compared to the heart

How else do you fulfill spiritual needs?

Once again, sorry for people who judge on G-d's behalf....truly!

Blessings to you
David T

G-d already knows my heart. I don't desire to know G-d because I already know I will have all my questions answered when the time comes.
Your translation of the Bible calls it a sin, mine does not.
Your translation of the Bible says to hate the sin but love the sinner, mine says to love all unconditionally without regard to "sin."
I'm a gay "christian" (small "c" for a reason) and believe in my Heavenly Parent who loves me unconditionally, knows my heart and my desires, knows how much I love my family and am grateful for all the blessings in my life.
I do not have to answer to any human being

Yes, I have been personally condemned, and I just hugged that person and told them that I love them too! I know they just say those hateful things because they're scared of the Truth. We're all G-d's children and we are mandated to LOVE ONE ANOTHER!

No, I have never been personally condemned by a Christian, or anyone else, for that matter, although I'm not out about my sexual orientation yet, so that's probably why. I have heard many people (Christian and non-Christians alike) condemn it, and my best friend, who is a devout Christian, is very accepting of GLBT people, but believes it to be a sin nonetheless.

I don't, actually, really desire to know God personally- I've never been very religious. I'm not much of an atheist, either- I simply don't feel a call to religion, though I find it fascinating and love to study it. If anything, I'm more drawn to Goddess culture and Wicca than Christianity.

I do like your statement 'church attendance is nothing compared to the heart'- it's something I've always believed.

Anyhow, thanks for the apology. You sound like a great guy, if a little enthusiastic about proselytizing.

Yes, The idea is that a book that has been rewritten over and over should be followed with out question. But it was not wrote out that way at first. The bible was changed to suit the needs of the church at that moment. Believe it or not just look at something that happened a week or so ago about this Pat Robertson thing about God told me of 'mass killing' in 2007 then said
"The Lord didn't say nuclear. But I do believe it will be something like that." see he changed it..
But as for fulfilling my spiritual needs.. I do that I am wiccan and have a strong faith. One does not have to be Christian to be a good person.
I have had Christians say to me they wished the people who go to church with were a nice as I am.
I was just raised to be good and help people. There is nothing wrong with that If someone wants to judge me then walk in my shoes and they will see that I am kinder then they are.

Yes.

Told I was going to burn in hell, did not receive support for my relationship when I had given it lovingly to others, seen many friends suffering because their Christian families treat them as if they are no longer part of the family in the name of Christ, children and teens being very cruel to others saying their church is against gays, suffering from horrific anti-gay policies at the federal and state level because people want to legislate their religion, persistent proselytizing by those who pity me or think of me as a sinner in the same category as an adulterer when I have been in a stable monogamous and loving relationship for seven years.

The question is supportive and kind compared to so much here, but your acceptance of the Bible calling it a sin is a bit odd to me considering all the other statements the bible makes and your analysis of Christianity. It's also concerning to see people continuing to ascribe a gender to God, but thank you for the kindness.

I was told I was going straight to hell several times. Christians tend to condem me anyway because I am Pagan, and once the discovery made that I am also bi...well it just escalates from there.

I have a few Christian friends that don't judge me for who I am and what I do, and appreciate the fact that everyone is different.

Thanks for the support man!

properly, i'm an atheist. yet I understand plenty approximately theology. the theory of a god exchange into that it created the international and loves its creations. The loophole that's: Why could God create homosexuality, if He condemns it? that's not God who condemns homosexuality, He loves every physique the two and if God is relatively who the Church says he's, then he will love you unconditionally. All God rather dislikes is evil human beings, yet He nonetheless loves them. that's the church who condemns homosexuality. yet, as I reported, i'm an atheist. So i don't have faith in God.

I have had people extremely scared of me, paranoid I'm gonna hit on them. I have also had people say they hate gays and break off ties to me because I am bi. Thank you for supporting us; it's nice to see a Christian actually act Christian.

Christians do not have to condemn gays, they do a good job on their own in front of the Lord and everyone.

Yes of course I've been condemned, and beaten all because of it. To me, that just Christianity.
