Hi, my hubby is an AVID coffee drinker and we have bought alot of different brands of coffee makers. We keep saying that we're gonna try the BUNN and never have, as of yet, because of the price. But I believe it will be worth the chance to get rid of the headaches!!!

A few months back, I bought the Hamilton Brew Station....that was a joke! It is convenient to put your coffee cup under the spout but it is hectic just pouring the water into the reservoir. It feels like you are carrying a water bucket with a handle. Water gets everywhere!!!!! As for cleaning the reservoir, it is not dishwasher safe. So, I would not suggest that one for you.

I often wondered if we were the only ones with this problem.

I work at Starbucks and can say there is alot of crappy machines out there. I recommend using Delonghi or Kitchen aid . I have a Delonghi after years of buying others and giving or throwing them away. I finally am happy

My mother-in-law has a BUN coffemaker. Those things are so great! I love hers! They are super fast on brewing. And hers lasts a long time. However, they cost about 80 dollars. I'v never had that much at once to spend on one so I keep getting the cheaper ones too. Only to replace them like you do.

Look at Bunn and see if its something you can use. The internet is probably your best bet, but I did see some in ShopKo the other day.
