Human nature is too selfish to constantly have the good of other people on their mind. It's hard enough to find one selfless person, let alone 6.5 billion.
Don't get me wrong, I believe in compassion, but whenever you read about Utopian societies, everyone is practically brainwashed, and doesn't look out for others because they want to, but because they have to.
