Don't know whether such a Dictator is needed in India to teach a lesson to the present dictators of different political parties-Congress,
CPI(M),BJP,Mayawati,Karunanidhi,Jayalalitha,Laloo,
Arjun Singh,P.R.das Munshi etc. etc.
I think he should not have been hanged on the directions of a Foreign Power like U.S.A. since he surrendered to them, though I am a Hindu(Brahmin) myself.
And the way his execution was shooted was not proper.

That decision was made & executed by the govt of Iraq. They new Saddam a lot better (or should that be worse?) than we did. It was their call & I think they made the right call.

Why Not? Who are we to decide the Law of Iraq. The Courts of Iraq has decided the matter. For a court of law it matter only the Law and not feelings, attachments or sentiments.

Personally, I feel he got off too easy. He was responsible for thousands upon thousands of innocent peoples' deaths (including some of his own family).

i feel he may not be hanged, though he destroyed many lives,my thoughts provoke that ;a human has no rights to take a valuable and precious life that was given by god ,instead he may be life prisoned

I believe that when one commits acts of mass-murder and genocide, that the death penalty is more than justified.
