Because a women's body goes through cycles and we need to regenerate. Men's bodies are constantly producing sperm and they are ready to go. Also it is just plain to reproduce that is why men feel the need to be with more then one partner and women generally mate for life. It's just the way it works to make more babies. Not saying that a man can't mate for life too or a woman can't want to be with more partners it is just statistics.

Testosterone is what drives men to be more sexually active. Women have a little teeny bit of testosterone in their system too, but nowhere near as much. Some women have more testosterone than others though, and these women are more sexually active than those who have less.

Because they're allowed to be. In many ways, women are far more sexual than men- we don't need to recharge, we're potentially multiply orgasmic, and other things. Men, however, are expected to be very sexual, while women are supposed to want sex only in a loving, committed relationship, or some such nonsense. Don't underestimate the power of what's expected of you, as that's what keeps us doing what our culture wants us to. While babies are more of a concern for women than men, it's more cultural expectations that keep women from being as sexual as men.

Or rather, from being perceived as being as sexual as men. After all, who are all the guys sleeping with?

Testosterone cause the sex drive/erection.

On average, the adult male body produces about twenty to thirty times the amount of testosterone that an adult female's body does. That's why men get horny frequently compare to women.
