There are bound to be a few genius porn stars. There are probably hundreds, if not thousands, of porn stars.
I suspect, though, that IQ interpretations are skewed. 100 is supposed to be average, but nearly everyone has an IQ of over 100. I don't think the results are reported accurately. And I agree with someone on here who said that smart people don't go around talking about their IQ. Mine's well over 150, but it's too stigmatizing to mention it, so I always change the subject when it comes up. Besides, I can't say being smart in logic has really done a lot for me. People lots dumber make a lot more money and have more successful social relationships. It's not like being smart helps you get laid.

A high iq does not take into account what a person may have experienced in their life that would make the porn industry an appealing career choice. People with high iq's are just as susceptible to low self estemm as those with lower scores.

Well, I can't quite believe self-claimed IQ, but anything is possible. More than their IQ, I'd look to see how well-spoken they are, how mature, how they comport themselves and so on- that's how I'd really measure their intelligence.
I'm sure many female porn stars are more intelligent than they let on, given that the persona they are trying to give off is ditzy slut. For the women who are high up there in the business, who have made a name for themselves- Candida Royalle, Jenna Jameson-I think they have a lot of brains. But I'm sure the majority are just as stupid as they appear- giggly idiots who make me cringe.
If they want to say it, sure, I'll believe them, but it's not going to change my initial estimations of them.

Many of them probably are pretty intelligent.Considering that they work for a very short time and make alot of cash and get out but alot of the women in porn these days are also directing when they are not in the films.I hear people call them all sorts of names but porn is the biggest industry in the world and those girls are making some money because of it so they have to have some sense or when they get done they'll be broke.

I don't believe anyone who states that they have a high IQ. Real people with really high IQs do not go around bragging about that. It makes them look small and petty.

i don't think i would believe them all. i don't really know who any porn stars are. but, i do believe that it doesn't make a difference in what kind of industry your in. there are intelligent people, and there are idiots, everywhere you go.
a friend of mine is a manager in a pretty big corporation, and has a college degree. but hes an IDIOT! lol. ya never know i guess.

I guess, I don't know. Porn is probalby good money, and they don't have to do it very long. If they are so smart they can figure out to s*ck and f*ck for a few years then invest it and retire at 30. I guess it's pretty smart if you wanna be a whore.
