I know you say you have a middle-high voice, but I really wouldn't do anything by C.A. You've got to be certain that you can hit all those high notes cause one squeak and it's over.
You know your capabilities, I would just do a song that isn't incredibly difficult but maybe with one or two showcasing qualities (ie, an extend note). Dazzle people, but don't strain to make it work. People can tell and will judge accordingly.
Also, maybe not do something as cliche as a ballad? Just a suggestion, though ballads are really nice too.
