I honestly don't believe it does.

On a very basic level, we are told that hate is bad because hate is an absolute emotion. Hate implies that we totally detest every single aspect of the person or thing that we are hating. Even if it feels like we do, we still have to acknowledge that there are at least a few good things about everything, even if we don't know quite what they are. Now, I'm not sure what the positive aspects of mosquitoes and rats are, but I'm sure there has to be something :)

If you hated a person, or a group of people, I still wouldn't call you a bad person, but I would say it's a bad thing to do and you should try to think about what you really mean when you say the word hate. To hate rats and mosquitoes is a bit less extreme, but still think about it. Do you really mean that you're afraid of them? Is there something in particular that triggers these strong emotions in you? No matter what though, hating a bug and a rat absolutely does not make you a bad person :)

No, only half a bad person. It is fine to hate mosquitoes, but it is NOT OK to hate rats.

Just start liking rats and you will be saved.

lol great question. why dont you say "dislike with a passion" instead of hate? my cousin taught me that. hate in my opinion is a bad word if its directed toward a person because if you truly hate a person you will kill them. if you say you hate them and will hesitate to kill them then you dont realli hate them. hate is that strong of a word. but yes we do kill mosquitos and rats so we do hate them those of us who do.
is it bad?? well consider this..they are living things too!! and though we cant help it we should consider this sometimes. i know its hard and we are cursed by this human nature to be very selfish but you know as long you are good in other more significant ways something this minor should not matter as long as it doesnt broaden your scope of where hate is applicable.
