I wonder what they think of us...we aren't ALL bad and I doubt ALL Iranians are either.

The only Iranian I knew was a smart guy; a programmer.
He didn't like the cruel Shah that the CIA had put in power decades ago; but he also didn't like the Muslim extremists.
Our media gives a very slanted view of whoever we have chosen to view as a threat. The Russians used to be the "Evil Empire"; but now those same people are OK, and the North Koreans and the Iranians are called the evil Empire.
The Iranian parents and the North Korean parents love their children, and hope the world will be a safe place for them; kind of like your parents, and mine.

Yes they are trust worthy. Some may be terrorists but not all. My very best childhood friends were an Iranian family, The Kermani's. Behrooz, Behzad, Behnom (Ben), and the one girl Behara. They came to America in the 80's due to the Iran - Iraq war and are some of the sweetest ppl I know. Maybe a little cheap, but who isn't?

I'm old enough to have attended college with several Iranians. They were excellent, wonderful people. Then, suddenly, after Carter took over, they had to go home.

I do not know what became of them. I assume they were tortured to death by the Mullahs, but they might still be lurking, hoping for a rebirth of freedom in that country.

I like Iranian people. They are very gentle and kind, and very polite. I do not agree with Iranian politics, but that is very different. Iranian people are quite pleasant. I would guess that they are no more dishonest than any other people in the world.

Well, you should not judge people of whole nation based on the behavior of their government or the regime governing there. People are all the same around the globe, you find the good and the bad. Do not be generic when you judge people.

They're just people, like us. And like us, they know the difference between the regular population and the bizarre leaders they sometimes elect, and the innocent people those leaders tend to demonize. I have a lot of faith in humanity. But you do have to sidestep the rhetoric.

I have never met any in real life. But I would like too. I would especially find it interesting to talk to a woman to find out how she feels about her life and her feelings on her culture because you hardly ever hear from the women in those cultures.

Basically they are good people who are being victimized by Government and Religion who deny their freedom.
